Brass scissor chart light

A very solid brass ship's chart light for wall mounting, with extendable scissor mechanism - probably from the period 1940-1950. This is a well-worn piece, with age-related marks and dents adding character. It has been re-wired with black twisted braid cable. This is a fairly heavy wall light, so it would need a secure wall fitting for mounting.
