Chinese wooden baby bath and water carrier

A brass banded wooden Chinese baby bath and water carrier from around 1900. This is in two pieces: the oval top (bath) lifts off the oval bucket below, which would have been used for holding the water. The two parts could be used as separate containers. This is an unusual and very attractive piece, with rich patina to the deep plum coloured wood.
