A pair of primitive benches from France, these are very rustic in style, with simple construction and rough timber finish. 

They are weight-bearing, and usable as seating, but not overly robust, so probably wouldn’t be ideal for heavy usage.

They would work well in a conservatory or similar setting, and would look very good painted.
