French Louis XVI style sofa

A large wingback French Louis XVI style sofa with beautiful serpentine back. This three-seater sofa has feather-filled seat cushions, and is extremely comfortable. The painted frame features carved floral motif detailing, and these, as well as the arm shape, are very much in the style of the renowned Maison Jansen workshop. The frame is sound and in good condition with a few superficial signs of age, as well as the expected wear to the paint finish. It’s been well upholstered with extensive stud trim. The upholstery shows signs of slight wear in some places, but is in a very good state overall.
