A stunning, tall Georgian chest of drawers in oak and elm, set on sturdy bracket feet, with a rich patina to the wood, and unusual configuration of eight drawers (three small over two small over three full width).
There is also a ‘secret’ valuables compartment with cut-out lid in the top.
The tallboy is late 18th or early 19th century, with beautiful ornate handles and escutcheons dated later.
