A very attractive and unusual hand-painted chest of drawers from Scotland. The original rich ochre paint finish has aged to a beautiful textured patina, and the contrasting dark wood turned handles are accentuated by the hand-painted scroll and leaf motifs. There is some historical damage to the lower drawer (please refer to last image in listing). A rare piece of Scottish folk art furniture.
